Directions

Mix 2 level teaspoons (approx. 10.7g) with 250ml of cold water. Shake it - or stir it - well, ideally leave it for 5 minutes to fully dissolve and then drink it 15 minutes before your run. The amount of water you use will affect the sweetness, so experiment and see what works best for you. If it’s cold outside, why not try adding hot water.

Creatine Monohydrate 3,000mg

Creatine enhances strength, power, and endurance by increasing your muscles’ ability to produce energy during high-intensity effort.

L-Citrulline Malate 1,000mg

L-Citrulline Malate enhances endurance, reduces fatigue, and improves blood flow by increasing nitric oxide (NO) production and supporting the urea cycle.

Once ingested, L-citrulline is converted into L-arginine in the kidneys, which then stimulates the synthesis of nitric oxide — a vasodilator that widens blood vessels and improves oxygen and nutrient delivery to working muscles. This enhanced circulation supports sustained performance and may delay the onset of muscular fatigue during both aerobic and anaerobic exercise.

The malate component (malic acid) contributes to cellular energy production within the Krebs cycle, further supporting ATP generation and reducing lactic acid accumulation. Together, this combination has been shown to improve time to exhaustion, reduce muscle soreness post-exercise, and support recovery in endurance athletes.

Beta Alanine 900mg

Beta-Alanine enhances muscular endurance and buffers fatigue by increasing intramuscular carnosine levels, which helps regulate pH and delay lactic acid accumulation during high-intensity exercise.

When Beta-Alanine is consumed, it combines with L-histidine to form carnosine — a dipeptide stored in skeletal muscle. Carnosine acts as an intracellular buffer, neutralising hydrogen ions (H⁺) that accumulate during anaerobic glycolysis, which cause the drop in pH (acidosis) associated with fatigue and muscular burn.

By elevating muscle carnosine concentrations, Beta-Alanine can extend time to exhaustion, improve performance in sustained high-output efforts, and support repeated sprint and interval training. For endurance athletes, this translates to greater efficiency under fatigue and better tolerance to threshold efforts.

Calcium HMB 550mg

Calcium HMB supports muscle preservation, recovery, and strength by reducing muscle protein breakdown and promoting muscle repair — especially during periods of high training stress or caloric deficit.

HMB is a metabolite of the branched-chain amino acid leucine, and plays a key role in regulating muscle protein turnover. It works by attenuating proteolysis (muscle breakdown) while simultaneously supporting anabolic processes, helping to preserve lean muscle mass during prolonged or intense training.

The calcium-bound form (Ca-HMB) improves bioavailability and absorption. Research shows that HMB can reduce markers of muscle damage (like creatine kinase), enhance recovery speed, and support adaptations in both strength and endurance athletes — particularly when training volume increases or during taper and deload phases.

Beetroot Extract (6% Nitrate) 500mg

Beetroot extract enhances aerobic performance, oxygen efficiency, and endurance by increasing nitric oxide (NO) production through its high dietary nitrate content.

Once consumed, dietary nitrates are converted into nitric oxide via the nitrate–nitrite–NO pathway. Nitric oxide acts as a vasodilator, relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow, which enhances oxygen delivery to working muscles and reduces the oxygen cost of exercise.

For endurance athletes, this translates to improved exercise efficiency, greater time to exhaustion, and better tolerance of high-intensity efforts. Studies have shown beetroot supplementation can improve performance in events lasting from 5 to 30 minutes and may aid recovery by supporting vascular function and reducing inflammation.

Caffeine Anhydrous 200mg

Caffeine Anhydrous enhances alertness, perceived energy, and endurance performance by stimulating the central nervous system and modulating key neurotransmitters involved in fatigue and focus.

As a dehydrated, highly concentrated form of caffeine, it is rapidly absorbed and acts primarily as an adenosine receptor antagonist — blocking the neurotransmitter responsible for drowsiness and mental fatigue. This leads to increased dopamine activity, heightened focus, and reduced perception of effort during prolonged or high-intensity exercise.

Caffeine anhydrous has been shown to improve time to exhaustion, reaction time, and overall endurance capacity. N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine 150mg

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT) supports cognitive function, mental focus, and stress resilience by replenishing catecholamine neurotransmitters depleted during prolonged physical or psychological stress.

NALT is a highly bioavailable form of L-tyrosine — a precursor to dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. These neurotransmitters are critical for maintaining alertness, motivation, and coordination during intense or prolonged activity. During endurance exercise, their levels can drop, contributing to central fatigue and reduced mental performance.

Supplementing with NALT helps sustain mental clarity and reaction time under fatigue, particularly during long runs, races, or training blocks with high cognitive and physical demand. Its acetylated form improves solubility and absorption compared to standard L-tyrosine, making it a preferred choice in pre-workout formulations for focus and mental endurance.
